I drew much of my inspiration this year from a thesis I wrote on building the self-esteem of our female students. I teach art at the local high school and am amazed every day by the beauty of my students (inside and out). I can only hope they grow to be strong independent women.

Three of the reasons I still love photography are my boys. They have been my inspiration to shoot even on days I didn't feel particularly creative. They are the most beautiful creatures on earth.

I'm tough, I'm ambitious, and I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, okay.
